What a beautiful journey it has been over the years! Through dance, Roland has found his true passion, one that he plans to turn into a lifelong career. It's such a joy to see him discover something he loves so deeply at such an early age—a passion that some of us spend our whole lives searching for, and sadly, some may never find.
Along this path, we’ve been fortunate to meet so many wonderful teachers, mentors, and fellow dancers who have become lifelong friends. There are simply too many people to thank for the love, guidance, and attention they've poured into both of my children over the past 17 years.
As we approach the final Nutcracker shows this weekend, I am so excited to see the amazing talent of these dancers and volunteers shine once again. The weekend was nothing short of spectacular. The performances were breathtaking. A special shoutout to the quick-change assistants, and everyone behind the scenes—your efforts are deeply appreciated!
One of the highlights of the weekend was the Benefit show on Saturday, where our Academy of Dance and Fine Arts dancers took the stage alongside the dancers from the Boys and Girls Club of the Piedmont (for their very first performance on a stage). It was so emotional to watch Roland and the other ADFA dancers dancing on stage with them. It’s moments like these that make this journey so truly special.
We are incredibly grateful to 3C for helping Roland pursue his dreams. This organization has played a crucial role in his dance journey, and we couldn't be more thankful for the opportunities provided.
